amidst a battle of who could find the best youtube video, I stumbled upon this video which brought me back. looking back, we have an all star line up on this track found on the soundtrack to the movie which was probably Michael Jordan’s biggest hit.

this is a blog posted by bobby hundreds of TH, couldn’t say it better myself:

I don’t know about you, but I’m bored of the Internet. I’ve hit this page twice in the past week. I click on Hypebeast and SlamXHype and High Snobiety at least 12 times a day, but I realize I’m not even reading the entries anymore. Just flipping through any new pictures with a quick scroll of the wrist, and then onto the next Bookmark to completely forget whatever new product information is headed my way. I mean, I couldn’t tell you one thing I remember from any news blog today, except that some Japanese brand is making a really expensive laser-shooting backpack and So-and-So made a Nike out of banana peels or something.

I don’t even care anymore. I’m not even paying attention. Sometimes I even find myself checking my own blog just to see if I’ve updated it without my knowing. I’m that bored with the internet. Talk about “too much information.” I’ve never really believed that too much of a good thing is bad for you, but… it certainly makes “good” not as good as “good” used to be.

TH – Tens Holiday 06 Line

December 5, 2006

Posted up on TH site, is their new label after their public label titled Tens.  Looks like paisley is redone but this time its cut and sewn instead of the panel printing.  I got the first line of panel printed paisley shirts and towards the seams, the ink got real blotchy and messy.  With these new C&S, the print job should be a million times cleaner and I’d like to assume that the quality of ink used on these new tees will prove to be much more worthy.

New C&C

December 5, 2006

okay, so after the previous blog I posted I disappointed myself after skimming a site I used to frequent.  This is what I’m talking about and soon the streetwear scene will implode as all these companies attempt to overprice their low amount of articles produced.  C&C, one of my former favorite brands made one of these mistakes.  As you can see below, a simple screen printed hoodie as such can run for well over 100 dollars.  Problem is…most of the people who can afford to buy these clothes don’t find this style appealing.  (This is just an assumption but highly logical isn’t it?) Simple.  Simply 145 dollars.

Streetwear Nowadays.

December 3, 2006

Been still checking hypebeast and highsnobiety every once in a while.  At first I was real excited about this “underground” movement of streetwear exclusives but now (I blame karmaloop, major fashion industry labels (kr3w, LRG, etc.) &  bandwagon jumpers) for this oversaturation of same shit over and over.  On top of that, most of the stuff posted on HB and HS are so fricken hard to get because only 5 articles of whatever were made by whoever.  Its nearly impossible to find these pieces and if you do, you have to pay 600% of its actual worth.  I’m starting to sound like DBTHB but that’s okay.  Sorry I haven’t been updating its just school has got me swamped and I am trying to graduate on time.  Yeah, that’s my tidbit on streetwear nowadays.  A lot of companies don’t have tight everything.  Its always only one coveted item or every other item produced is tight.   But I guess for now, I’ll just sit back in the cut for a minute before I make a move.
